The KF in cooperation with the Jagiellonian Law Society hosted a notable webinar titled “Raphael Lemkin and the Genocide Convention: 75 Years Later”. Raphael Lemkin was the Polish-Jewish lawyer who famously coined the term “genocide” and initiated the Genocide Convention.
The online seminar was hosted on December 1, 2022, by the Jagiellonian Law Society about Rafael Lemkin, a Polish Jewish lawyer who invented the concept of genocide as a crime. This webinar was the first of the two-part series exploring the body of work and legal legacy of Rafael Lemkin. Featured speakers include:
