Bequests in a Will

A bequest to the Kosciuszko Foundation is a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy and support the Foundation’s mission for generations to come.
To make a bequest, you can include the Kosciuszko Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, either by leaving a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other bequests have been fulfilled. We recommend consulting with your attorney or estate-planning professional to ensure your wishes are properly documented and reflect your individual circumstances.
Sample language:
“I give, devise, and bequeath [specific amount/percentage/residue of my estate] to the Kosciuszko Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, currently located at 15 East 65th Street, New York, NY 10065, to support its mission and programs.”
