About the International Children’s Day Piano Concert

We welcomed guests to the International Children’s Day Piano Concert, featuring the talented piano students of Martin Labazevitch. They performed a captivating repertoire during the International Children’s Day Piano Concert, including works by Chopin, Haydn, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Bartok, and Copland.

Guests enjoyed an evening of beautiful music, youthful artistry, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

An inspiring educator and passionate advocate for musical excellence, Dr. Labazevitch has been nurturing the next generation of musical prodigies at the Levine School of Music in Washington D.C.

His dedication extends globally as the Co-Founder of the Puerto Rico International Piano Festival in San Juan, and as the Artistic Director of the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition and Chopin Piano Academy in Washington D.C. In 2022, Dr. Labazevitch co-founded The Paderewski Academy, a hybrid piano academy based in Zurich, Switzerland. A distinguished Steinway Artist, his influence resonates across borders.
