Join us for an inspiring recital by two internationally acclaimed musicians as they present a powerful and diverse program featuring works by: Robert Schumann, Mieczysław Weinberg, Max Bruch, and Friedrich Gulda

Amit Peled

Internationally renowned cellist, conductor, and pedagogue Amit Peled is recognized as one of the most electrifying and virtuosic instrumentalists performing today. The New York Times praised his “glowing tone,” while The Strad Magazinedescribed his playing as “fiery and intelligent.” Peled has graced many of the world’s premier concert halls and released over a dozen recordings on labels including Naxos, Centaur, Delos, and CTM Classics. He currently serves as cello professor at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Martin Labazevitch

A celebrated concert pianist and Steinway Artist, Martin Labazevitch has performed across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Israel. His debut album featuring Chopin’s Concerto with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra was lauded by ConcertoNet for its “eloquent precision” and artistic sensitivity. Labazevitch is the Artistic Director of the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition and the founder and Artistic Director of the Berkshire Piano Academy in Massachusetts. He also co-founded The Paderewski Academy, a groundbreaking hybrid piano institution based in Zurich, Switzerland.
