This strategic Kosciuszko Foundation University of Rzeszów Partnership establishes a framework for joint research projects, academic exchange programs, scholarships, and cultural initiatives. It reflects our shared commitment to advancing educational and scientific cooperation while strengthening the bonds between our two nations.

The city of Rzeszów—one of Poland’s fastest-growing urban centers—plays a crucial role in the region, especially in light of its support for Ukraine since the onset of the Russian invasion in 2022. Rzeszów has become a key hub for humanitarian assistance and military logistics, earning international recognition for its resilience and generosity.

The agreement also holds a special significance for the Kosciuszko Foundation. Stephen Mizwa, the Foundation’s visionary founder, was born in the Rzeszów region. This partnership symbolizes both a return to our roots and a forward-looking commitment to his legacy of education and service.

We look forward to many years of fruitful collaboration with the University of Rzeszów as we continue to expand opportunities for students, scholars, and institutions on both sides of the Atlantic.
