Lipski Prize 2023: Dr. Adam Polak

Dr. Adam Polak, Jagiellonian University, Poland. Laureate of the 2023 Lipski Prize.

Adam Polak completed his studies at Jagiellonian University in Kraków under the guidance of Professor Pawel Idziak. During his doctoral studies, he undertook a six-month stint as a visiting student at MIT, where he was hosted by Professor Virginia Vassilevska Williams. Subsequently, he dedicated two years to his role as a postdoctoral researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, collaborating with Professors Friedrich Eisenbrand and Ola Svensson. Currently, he serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany, within the group of Professor Danupon Nanongkai.
