About:

The Kosciuszko Foundation Poland has been operating since 2010. It supports intellectual, scientific, and cultural exchange between Poland and the United States. It organizes cultural events, co-organizes trips for scholars and artists to participate in fellowships in the United States, and hosts American students in Poland.

The Kosciuszko Foundation Poland is a separate organization, but it remains closely connected to its parent organization, The Kosciuszko Foundation Inc. in New York.

The KF Poland was established on the initiative of the Board of Trustees of the American organization, and most of its activities are carried out in cooperation with this partner. Although it draws on a long-standing tradition, it continues to evolve, seeking inspiring ways to connect Poles and Americans. The strongest foundation of these ties is shared culture, along with science, medicine, technology, and language. New projects are developed around these areas.

The Kosciuszko Foundation Inc. was established in 1925. For nearly a century, it has awarded scholarships to students and scholars from Poland and the United States. It conducts informational and educational activities related to the history of Polish culture and science, organizes exhibitions, concerts, and competitions, and promotes Polish art. It commemorates Tadeusz Kosciuszko, an outstanding general, freedom fighter, and hero of two nations. Many projects are carried out jointly by the American and Polish foundations.
