As we commemorate International Children’s Day, you are invited to the Concerts by Young Pianists, Students of Dr. Martin Labazevitch.

Prepare to be enchanted by the extraordinary talents of nine young (ages: 12-17) pianists hailing from the studio of Dr. Martin Labazevitch.  They will perform a captivating repertoire featuring works by the masters: J.S. Bach, Haydn, Wagner/Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Debussy, and Grażyna Bacewicz.
An inspiring educator and passionate advocate for musical excellence, Dr. Labazevitch has been nurturing the next generation of musical prodigies at the Levine School of Music in Washington D.C.
His dedication extends globally as the Co-Founder of the Puerto Rico International Piano Festival in San Juan, and as the Artistic Director of the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition and Chopin Piano Academy in Washington D.C. In 2022, Dr. Labazevitch co-founded The Paderewski Academy, a hybrid piano academy based in Zurich, Switzerland. A distinguished Steinway Artist, his influence resonates across borders.
Following the concert, join us for a reception where you can mingle with the young performers and meet their teacher.
Come with your children and let the concert ignite their passion for music!
Space is limited, please RSVP to kfdc@thekf.org
