The Kosciuszko Foundation Philadelphia Chapter in cooperation with the Jagiellonian Law Society held a webinar highlighting the daring August 2021 Polish-led evacuation of nearly 90 Afghan women judges, lawyers, prosecutors, and their families following the Taliban’s return to power.
The discussion explored how a single tweet, individual courage, new technologies, and Polish government and Special Forces efforts came together to save women at grave risk, highlighting a powerful story of international solidarity, hope, and human decency.
