Tadeusz Kosciuszko’s Imieniny “Name Day” Celebration by the KF Chicago Chapter
The Polish Museum in America,
984 North Milwaukee Ave., Chicago.
The Chicago Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation cordially invites you to its annual Name Day Celebration of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, to be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Polish Museum of America, 984 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago.
The celebration of Tadeusz Kościuszko’s name day revives a cherished Polish tradition and commemorates an important moment in Polish history. On October 28, 1792, a name day celebration in Kościuszko’s honor took place at the palace of Prince Czartoryski in Sieniawa.
This year, our Chapter is pleased to honor Jarosław Gołembiowski, Founder and President of the Chicago Chopin Society, in recognition of his many years of dedication to promoting and performing Polish music.
We will also celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and the contributions of Poles and Polish Americans to the nation’s history and cultural heritage. The program will feature a historical presentation by Professor Donald Pienkos, followed by a musical performance by Mr. Gołembiowski, who will present compositions by Jan Ignacy Paderewski, Fryderyk Chopin, and Tadeusz Kościuszko, as well as several of his own works.
The evening will also include a raffle, and light refreshments will be served.
Suggested Entrance Donation: $20
We would also greatly appreciate your support through a Well-Wisher listing in our event program brochure, with contributions ranging from $25 to $200. These generous donations help sustain the mission of the Kosciuszko Foundation and support its scholarship programs.
Please submit your Well-Wisher listing and donation by October 24, 2026, to:
