Marek Skulimowski visited Ukraine to donate computer and multimedia equipment funded by the Kosciuszko Foundation to the local schools as well as cultural and humanitarian institutions

Marek Skulimowski, President of the Kosciuszko Foundation, recently visited Ukraine, making stops in Lviv and Nahachiv.

His trip coincided with St. Nicholas Day, providing a fitting occasion to donate computer and multimedia equipment funded by the Foundation to two Polish schools.

The first donation was made to School No. 10 in Lviv, named after Saint Mary Magdalene (Szkoła nr 10 im. św. Marii Magdaleny we Lwowie). The second was to the Polish School in Mościska.
Both institutions offer a comprehensive, five-day-a-week Polish-language curriculum. During his visit, Skulimowski had the opportunity to meet with the talented students and dedicated teachers who make these programs possible.
In Nahachiv, the Foundation President participated in the inauguration of the Cross-Border Education Center, established by the Folkowisko Humanitarian Foundation. The Center, which received additional equipment support from the Kosciuszko Foundation, will offer training for teachers and psychologists, as well as educational programs for local youth, including English and Polish language courses.

Folkowisko Foundation is actively seeking qualified teachers to join the Center’s initiatives.

During the same trip, Marek Skulimowski also met with Olesya Stefanyk, Director of the Central State Historical Archive in Lviv, which is housed in a former 17th-century Bernardine monastery. He presented another set of vital equipment to support the archive’s work.
The Kosciuszko Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to all those who helped make its initiatives a success, with special thanks to the Folkowisko Foundation (Fundacja Humanitarna Folkowisko) for their invaluable humanitarian efforts.
