Łódź Film School Lee Strasberg Partnership in New York
The agreement establishing the scholarship program was signed by representatives of both institutions: Milenia Fiedler on behalf of the Łódź Film School and Victoria Krane, Director of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York.
Through this partnership, outstanding students from Poland will have the opportunity to study and refine their craft at one of the world’s most renowned acting and film institutions, gaining invaluable international experience and professional training.
This year’s participant in the Summer Method Acting Program, organized by The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, is Julia Jaroszewska, a fourth-year Acting Department student at the Łódź Film School. The program will take place from June 22 through August 28, offering an intensive opportunity for artistic growth and professional development.
The Kosciuszko Foundation is proud to support this initiative. As part of our mission to foster educational and cultural exchange between Poland and the United States, we awarded a grant to help cover Julia’s educational expenses, ensuring that financial barriers do not impede exceptional talent and opportunity.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Mateusz Sakowicz, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in New York,
Marek Skulimowski, President and Executive Director of the Kosciuszko Foundation, and Mariusz Bargielski of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America.
We congratulate everyone involved in making this partnership possible and wish Julia every success as she embarks on this exciting educational journey. We look forward to seeing how this collaboration continues to strengthen artistic and educational ties between Poland and the United States.
