Urszula Dudziak and Waldemar Dabrowski to be Honored During the KF Annual Dinner & Ball on April 22
The Foundationâs Annual Fundraising Dinner and Ball will take place on Saturday, April 22, at the Plaza in NYC. This year we will celebrate the achievements of Polish musicians and recognize two leading figures who shaped the scene and image of Polish music in the world.
The Foundationâs Medal of Recognition will be presented to Urszula Dudziak, a world-renowned Polish jazz vocalist who performed with some of the greatest jazz artists in almost all countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, who recorded nearly 50 albums of which âNewborn Lightâ was recognized by the prestigious American âDown Beatâ magazine, and who was named the Singer of the Year by the Los Angeles Times.
During the Ball, we will also honor, with the Foundationâs Medal of Recognition, Waldemar Dabrowski, General Manager of the Grand Theater â Polish National Opera, and former Minister of Culture, a visionary leader in the field of classical music whose pioneering initiatives led to the advancement of the Polish cultural scene and encouraged an appreciation for Polandâs rich national heritage worldwide.

The Ball is the Foundationâs primary fundraiser supporting its educational and cultural programs.
