KF Centennial Celebration & 31st Anniversary of the Philadelphia Chapter — Screening of Scarborn Movie

The Kosciuszko Foundation, Philadelphia Chapter with its President Andre Zlotnicki, AIA AICP, cordially invite you to a special celebration marking the Centennial of The Kosciuszko Foundation and the 31st Anniversary of the Philadelphia Chapter.

Please join us on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the newly renovated Philadelphia Film Society Center, located at 1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, for an evening of culture, history, and celebration.

The Philadelphia Chapter will host a private screening of KOS (Scarborn), a critically acclaimed film by renowned Polish director Paweł Maślona. The film follows General Tadeusz Kościuszko, a decorated hero of the American Revolutionary War, upon his return to Poland as he seeks to unite the nobility and peasantry in a national uprising against Russian occupiers.
KOS has received widespread critical acclaim, including the Grand Prix – Golden Lions at the 2023 Gdynia Film Festival and six awards at the 2024 Polish Film Awards (Eagles).

The evening will begin with a sumptuous reception in the lobby, followed by a short address by the President of The Kosciuszko Foundation and a brief talk by Dr. Elizabeth Zechenter, who will provide historical, cultural, and economic context for the film and discuss its broader implications.
