About the KF Summer Studies Abroad Program:

Spend your summer in Poland with the Kosciuszko Foundation Summer Studies Abroad — an immersive program where you will improve your Polish language skills through classroom instruction, lectures, and take part in cultural activities and excursions designed to deepen your knowledge of Polish history, language, and culture. You’ll have regular classes at partner universities Jagiellonian University, Krakow or John Paul II Catholic University, Lublin, plus guided cultural events that help you connect with your Polish heritage and build lasting international friendships.

You may attend the KF Summer Studies Program either by applying for a KF scholarship or by enrolling as a pay-to-go participant.

Pay to go — Summer Studies

  • 2 Locations: Jagiellonian University (Krakow) or John Paul II Catholic University (Lublin).
  • How to apply as a paying student: Submit the online application below and forward program fees via check to the Kosciuszko Foundation (KF) Summer Studies Office in New York City.

Summer Studies Scholarships:

In 2024, the Kosciuszko Foundation awarded $42,130 in scholarships to 21 students for summer studies in Poland, including programs at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin.

TOMASZKIEWICZ-FLORIO SCHOLARSHIP-for Polish American undergraduate students

WISCONSIN STUDY IN POLAND SCHOLARSHIP- for undergraduate and graduate Polish American students from Wisconsin

Applicants will be informed of scholarship decisions via e-mail by the Summer Study Office in New York City.  Students who are not chosen to receive a scholarship may attend the program as paying students.
